I have some pretty hectic tendinitis going on in my foot, I had been hobbling around each week umpiring hoping it will pass but then have had to give it a rest and pull out of the finals games I was allocated.
I started back at the gym last week to notice that I've put on over 3kgs due to being less active, drinking beer lately and eating too well.
Now I have the task of firstly, losing the 3 kgs I gained, then losing the next 3 that I needed to lose and then the following 4 that I wanted to lose, 10 kilos all up, going to be a tough month or so.
Gets harder and harder.. and harder to find the motivation.
I stepped on the scales couple weeks ago and had blown out a few extra kg's - spent the whole week eating healthy, going for walks.. by weekend had got back under a certain weight and on track - one big weekend and WHAM! Was heavier than i was to start with.
I'm half lucky that my metabolism is reflective of my laziness/activeness.
I can shed 4 kilos in a week with exercise, eating super healthy or fasting for a couple of days so I'll up my game immediately, I've set myself a goal of 25 gym visits for the month and to make sure I'm doing my 6km walk/run each day, I knew I was gonna eat like a pig yesterday and sink a few beers but it will now be gin only for the remainder of the month.
I'm in a great place mentally atm and last time I got my arse into gear I lost 12 kilos in little time, I've been time poor recently looking forward to my sons footy finishing to give me back some lost time, it basically cut my Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays out of my calendar and I was hoping he'd have his P's by now, I've conceded defeat on that and told him to just go sort it and I'll pay for the remaining lessons, test and licence.
