The Little Hunter - Victoria St, Adelaide.

Go there.

300gm wagyu rump, wheat and barley fed, marble score 8+ served with steakhouse chips, baked potato or truffle mash, I went the baked spud. Added some roasted baby carrots on the side, $54 total.

The steak was a perfect medium, absolutely bang on, went with the pepper sauce that was just that, pepper sauce, not some gravy with peppercorns. Excellent. Good size spud with some sour cream and the roasted baby carrots were served in a side clay pot covered in a drizzle of honey.

It's a steak and ale house, I can't tell you the beers I tried, it was several IPA's or IIPA's.

Excellent venue, really ye olde ale house feel, feed was excellent.

9/10. Give it a go.

Yeah the dining room is small and even out the back you are in a hallway

It's ridiculous how good the food is there considering it's a dance floor of the Woolshed after 10pm.

Someone endorsed the pub at Turton a while back for a meal, was it Spargo or amber?

What was the recommendation? Looking at going for a drive, gotta decide up or down.

Might be a bit more sheltered on the other side from Vincent though.

Nice spot there, I didn't have a meal when I was there, caught enough squid to put on top of some rump I got in Minlaton.

I didn’t bring any fishing gear because the wharf was apparently closed, it isn’t.

Looks like old mate next door is cleaning up raking, he’s been out there since before 7am, I’ll go have a beer with him once he starts boiling them.

He offered some razor fish yesterday but it was a very hollow day for me and I wasn’t up for socialising.

Good feed and good view!
Give the prawn pasta a go with a pint of Carlton draught.
Won’t be disappointed.
