I live in the area and no one uses Kings Reserve, its a ghost town 99% of the time.

Maybe Andrew is the 1%er?

In fairness to Andrew that first paragraph rings very true from a previous controversial decision made regarding their club and the treatment of stakeholders.

Adelaide officially nominated Michalanney just moments after completing a pick swap with North Melbourne and Brisbane, which saw it secure the Kangas' future second-round selection in exchange for pick No.23.
The deal essentially means the Crows will not have to worry about the prospect of pick No.23 being eaten up if a bid for Michalanney comes earlier, while also landing the South Australian club a nice selection in 2023.
The Kangaroos also gave up pick No.59 in the deal, which will help the rebuilding side add to their suite of early selections. They are now due to start next month's draft with picks No.2, 3 and 23.
The Crows also traded their future fourth-round selection, tied to the Dockers and which came as part of the Izak Rankine deal earlier this month, to receive pick No.56 from the Lions. The trade will ensure draft points to match a bid for Michalanney.

Yeah really good pick up.

As a player he came across as someone who would easily fit into a leadership / mentor role. Wasnt the most skilled bloke on the planet but got the absolute best out of his ability and body and became the ultimate team player. If he takes that into his off field roles im sure he will do great things.

Wonder if they will get a game or two out of him in the SANFL.

Playing back at GG too I hear, they'll be D1 soon. Any club that has a CFS in the area shouldn't be in the Metro League ;)

Good signing.

A mate of mine has seen him playing a lot of golf and thinks he looks in good shape.

As an aside, he also thinks Jordan Dawson could be a golf professional should he choose.

Anyone who saw this bloke jogging around half arsed in the SANFL last year could see this happening. Haven’t seen too many blokes more disinterested in playing footy before. Was quite sad to see and hopefully he can find something he enjoys

Little surprised more young players don't burn out or lose interest to be honest.

You're basically putting your life on hold from 13+ and everything is into footy to get drafted.. then get drafted and it's football 24/7 busting your arse to get a game. It's a fair demand / sacrifice for a young person, especially when your friends are probably enjoying a different lifestyle.
