Confirmed. Last leg of the quaddie now.

Track rated 6 but will most likely get heavier.

In the Cox Plate I'm quite tempted to take Alligator Blood despite the wide draw. Need a bit of luck but at $21 I'm tempted.

I walked into the TAB and saw a dog race in Townsville. The no 4 was Saint Bluey. My mates surname is Saint and his nickname is Bluey. I always back anything with Blue in the name and it was the blue rug. What could go wrong with a 1.70 favourite in the race (the no1).

They jump, the 4 sits behind the leader and then overtakes it in the straight. The 1 fades to fourth.

Wins and pays $41 fixed (I got it at $34). What a great start to the day.

Anyway, given that I lashed out and put the following bets on;

Doomben R 3 1 win
Sydney R 8 1 win
Melbourne R 4 15 e/w
Melbourne all up R 4 15 into R 8 1 into R 11 10 all for the place
Gold Coast R 7 1 win
