Turton's pub food is fair at best, if you are driving over that way go to the Howling Dog Tavern at Corny Point, classic remote pub.

Read this when I got back in the car.
6.5 for Turton, wasn’t overly hungry so shared the seafood trio for $36.

Heaps of calamari, 3 prawns and a piece of fish, chips were a bit ordinary.

Nice people though.

While you're both there walk around the corner and have a look at Alfie's. Knock on the door, he'll show you through.

It's a bit basic and the lady folk weren't too keen on it when we stayed there, but for a group of blokes you could take 12-15 and sleep them all pretty comfortably and the outdoor area would be awesome for a Grand Final show or the like with the lads.

Waiting that long?

Way up here the missus asked if she can have one of my beers, I asked if she can wait til after Wakefield then I’ll have one too.

Sure enough, I got pulled into a one cop breatho at Wakefield, exactly why I wanted to wait.

Wouldn’t of been over but would’ve been delayed 20 minutes because of alcohol breath.

Went to an 80's thingy on Saturday so we stayed at St. Francis winery Friday and Saturday night.

Place would've top notch in 1986, a bit outdated but meh.

Dinner was pretty good, most people had the porterhouse and it was cooked to everyone's liking. No complaints.

We had breakfast there as well though, I'm not usually big on buying breakfast as they are always over-priced and there's always something that goes tits up.

I asked for my bacon to be slightly cooked as the day before everyone's was rock hard, mine ended up being mostly black.

The fattest dude in our group asked for extra bacon, his came out last and had no bacon at all.

Their coffee was cold, they messed every coffee order up, they even brought out one order twice.

Everyone asked for their poached eggs to be runny, they all came out solid as.

Their toasted sourdough came out lightly toasted on one side only or not at all, not real fresh either.

They have a $1 surcharge for scrambled eggs.

The staff were great though, on both occasions.

I went to my car on Saturday morning and noticed a car behind me had been burnt out overnight, I go to my car and the car next to me had a bomb chucked into it's window and burnt out the whole inside of it, there was debris and foam spray all over my car, I had only washed it Friday afternoon.

I washed it again yesterday and noticed a couple of little dings that I assume the firefighters done, not enough to use insurance but enough to be pissed off as it is so new.

Funny bit was that I actually moved it after dinner as I didn't like having it parked on the end near the road, should've left it there.
