I bet he will have a good year at SANFL level. Odds on he will be a good pick up.

We have officially announced 8 new players and an assistant coach. That isn't a bad series of announcements.
It is possible some may need to be left until after the draft in case they are selected in it; common practice for most clubs.

Sturt sign Angus Anderson

The Club is pleased to announce the signing of Angus Anderson from the Sydney Swans Academy/VFL. 189cm, Anderson is a strong inside midfielder who thrives at the contest.

“We are excited by Anderson’s inside clearance work and clean hands,” said Senior Coach Marty Mattner. “He adds height and strength to our midfield line up.”

In 2021, Anderson was captain of the Swans Academy Team in the NAB League where he averaged 24 disposals, four tackles and a goal per game.

In 2022, Anderson was selected for the Allies in the NAB AFL National Championships as well as making his VFL debut for the Swans, playing seven games.

We are excited to welcome Angus into the Sturt Family.
