well, after a few weeks trying a new thing, looks like i suck at it and im back in my old job.

first day back today and already it feels like i never left :oops:

Nothing ventured, nothing gained, at least you had the opportunity to see if the grass was greener while having the security of returning.

The death at the Waikerie Pool over the weekend.

Working in the aquatic industry no one means/wants for that to happen. Tragedy for all those involved including family, other patrons, staff and the entire community.

When one of your clear lunch containers is no longer clear thanks to the microwave.

My own stupid fault as I usually heat my lunch up in a normal bowl.

Good mate of mine has a son with Down Syndrome, he has been looking forward to his 21st birthday for the last 2 years, he has basically invited everyone he has met in that period, it was all set for tomorrow, until he tested positive to COVID yesterday, poor kid :(

I know a mate will be reeling, he was involved in a police shooting years ago as one of the officers and struggles to this day with it. I messaged him last night and will pop in for a beer with him this afternoon.
