No promotion
Not on FTA
England B grade side
Ticket prices
Friday/Sunday would be better scheduling imo
Absolutely meaningless series, following a shooting with a stabbing after t20 wc
Dave Warner will be missed!

I see there were low crowd numbers in Sydney yesterday following on from Thursday.

But why

A) are we playing one dayers this early in the summer?
B) why is cricket Australia not promoting it. I only found out about the game here on the Wednesday.
C) why would matches here be on a Thursday and not Friday and also why wasn't yesterday's match on today?
D) has T20 diluted the publics attention span for 50 over cricket?

To partly answer answer B, are you on social media MT? Facebook, Instagram, Twitter? Or do you have the CA app? CA heavily advertise and promote everything to do with Australia's matches on social media and their App now, as does sites like ESPN Cricinfo, the ICC page, Fox Cricket and Wisden to name a few. You'll always know what cricket is happening when and where with the CA social media plus the others.

My opinion on C- Having ODI's on Thursdays and especially Saturday's is stupid IMO, most of the people that would of wanted to go to the SCG yesterday would of been playing cricket themselves/involved in a cricket club on a Saturday afternoon. Sunday's have to be the better option.

Like AE said, not being on FTA would be hurting viewing numbers/promotion too.

Yeah, I'm on social media, but it still slipped past me. I probably don't follow the right pages etc.
As for apps, I just use flash score. I have found the CA app in the past to be sluggish.

Was club cricket cancelled in NSW yesterday?

If you follow the cricket pages and are the appropriate apps then you'll definitely know when the games will be on and what's happening this summer. There's also podcasts and videos on Spotify and YouTube for example used for promotion and news aswell.

Looking on MyCricket NSW Premier Cricket was still on yesterday.

NZ 3/241
Latham 100* (76)
Williamson 73* (82)

Eden Park's straight boundaries are stupidly short and that irks me every time I see it but looks like there's a big crowd there tonight, Friday arvo/night cricket makes sense.

NZ win 3/309

Big ton to Latham

Williamson just missed a ton

Pretty poor bowling by India in the end

Flicking between the 2 matches on telly - NZ v India ODI and the PMs XI match the difference between able to pick up the White ball under lights on telly compared to the Pink ball was chalk and cheese. I know my eyes are on the wane but the White ball is so easy to see where as the Pink ball was hard to pick up. Anyone else have my problem when watching telly and for anyone who has played under lights do they find the white ball easier to pick up than the pink? vice versa or the same ?

5/363 from 44.4, India will probably avoid the whitewash after losing the first two matches.

Gill and Kohli on fire, both with 100's currently 3/340 odd with 5 overs to go 400 on the cards here

Nasty fielding accident when 2 Lankans collided in the outfield, looked like both seriously injured, game held up for some time whilst they were attended to and eventually both stretchered off
