Daughter approaches a train crossing in a 60km zone, dingers go off as she is close so she tries to slow down but realizes she won't stop in time so she goes through.

$600 fine, 3 points.

You apparently have 4.5 seconds to get through once they go off, the photo is after 54 seconds and she is on the tracks do 50kmp/h, if she stayed doing 60 there wouldn't have been a problem.

I told her the importance of not hesitating when driving, if you're gonna go, you go, if you're unsure, you don't.

Happened to me once, (not at a train crossing though) , i'd passed the point of no return and there was someone up my clacker so had to go through traffic lights, which i still swear weren't red but there happened to be a cop at the lights too, he pulled me over and regardless of who was behind me, i still should've stopped.

"me: so it's better for me to slam on the breaks so someone behind me can run up the back of me and push me into oncoming traffic, and potentially cause more damage, rather than keep going as i was and no one was harmed..."

While it sucks, it is very much an employees market so best advice is to go looking elsewhere if having issues.

I’d have Marnus well above him.

And poster boy Cummins is losing fans every time he opens his mouth.

For me Marnus sits below him, whilst Marnus is a grade A dickhead he's yet to prove himself as a cheat and manipulator of younger cricketers.

Agree about Cummins as well, I've been a tad off him since Langergate in which he seemed to play a decisive role the second he got the captaincy.

He fails to realize that he isn't in contention for a leadership role because he doesn't possess leadership qualities.

The dude can bat and he has come along way since being earmarked as a Super 6/T20 player only, but he will be forgotten as soon as he retires.

Just pre-announcing a retirement reeks of flogger-like personality, you don't always have to do the right thing to be loved and respected by the Aussie cricket public, Roy proved that, you do have to be a decent bloke though, he's no Haydo's, Gilly or Dizzy.

They don’t really have a marketable cricketer now People have turned on Cummins.
Smith and Marnus, why they are exceptional bats, the garbage they go
On with Makes them abrasive to the general public.
Warner is disliked by just about everyone, Usman is awesome but his Captaincy ship sailed when Langer refused to play him.
They won’t use Lyon is the face of Aust cricket and Heads game doesn’t allow for leadership credentials. Starc not far from being finished.
It basically leaves Green, Carey and Hazelwood as guys who are somewhat Marketable and don’t piss off the general, not entirely cricket loving public.
Hence the call from the general public for fresh faces to be playing, as they are thriving to find someone semi likeable.
