Was nothing wrong with it, the footage clearly shows the ball was still in play!

Doesnt bode well for us in the morning.

Will be doing well to keep it within 3 goals.
Asian teams are mostly hot trash.
Far too easy for these garbage sides to qualify

2 Teams from the Asian Zone qualify for the Last 16 .....

Yeah hasnt turned out to bad after a initial poor start.

The general thought was that the european teams would aclimatise as the tournament went on. Keeping in mind whilst the grounds have air conditioning training, general living is done outside etc.

Maybe the opposite has happened and the asian teams who put up a great fight in the end are use to the conditions and able to last the distance so to speak.

You do understand the whole ball must be out ... better angles and what would have bee reviewed a small portion was on the line ....

If there was VAR in 1966 , England may have not won the World Cup

The replay they showed on the big screen at the ground - camera level with goal line - showed it still in play.

Of course I’m aware it’s the entire ball. If their systems can’t show that being out of play then put it in the bin because 99% of the world can clearly see it’s out. Poor decision imo.

We are finishing stronger and unlucky not to be level. Argies have reverted to their time honoured tradition of rolling around on the turf to milk the clock

Great effort by Australia
Lets not forget Soccer arguably runs 3rd to Australian Rules and Cricket in Australia
To complete against countries where they breathe soccer and do so well is a phenoMenAL effort

To lose 1-2 to Argentina, a team that might play off in the World Cup final is a decent effort

Its a blight on the game, and we see many play for free kicks in the AFL now ...

Well!!! So close but so far !!!!

Great effort by the Socceroos after many criticised everything about them after the first game,....the setup from grassroots to top level still needs a massive overhaul....
