No No No No No, No outrage whatsoever just appreciation of the gift that keeps on giving to the wider footy community that is Kochie

At least he's left Hinkley alone.

So who are the Port players that should be nervous in a helicopter and who's the one who's going to move to Sydney to join NIDA to further their film career???
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Amon not rated internally or umpires votes crooked?
Noticed he got the 3 votes for BOG 3 times and yet in each of those games he was only voted 7th, 7th and 9th by Port.
I know clubs have weird ways of voting but seems strange

I get that because we have some absurd voting at times but I would’ve thought that a player who appeared to be one of the best on ground would be rated so low in those games.
I think you even had him as in your bests for those games so I’m confused now, if we can’t trust the Oracle’s voting who can we trust ;)

In a nut shell Koch compared Port 2023 to the 2008 USA 'redemption team' in reference to the Netflix doco out at the moment documenting the USA loss in 2004 Olympics followed by their gold medal in the 2008 Olympics.

Lebron James and Kobe Bryant led the team to victory in 2008 and Koch posed the question as to 'which players will stand up and be Port's Lebron and Kobe' in 2023.

Their theme in 2022 was 'embrace the expectation'........that obviously didn't happen so the 2023 theme 'is that they are the redemption team'

Our BnF is based, IIRC, with the coaches voting on how the players executed the role expected of them and how they influenced the contest.

So whilst Amon, for instance, might have looked flash and had some nice touches for the umpires he may not have been, in the eyes of the coaches, playing his role as expected by them. Thus completely different criteria and probably why Houston and Wines faired better in the BnF than they did in external voting/thoughts on their season.

The fact you thought it would be raised on here suggests how 'corny' his references were.

Anyway let's get back to the question posed by your illustrious leader who is going to be Lebron and who is Kobe....

IMO I reckon Amon was awarded some of Rozee's touches by the umpires by mistake.

I also think that those doing the voting at Port probably gave him less credence knowing he was leaving.
