England have already named their team- Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope (wk), Joe Root, Harry Brook, Ben Stokes, Will Jacks, Ollie Robinson, Jack Leach, Mark Wood, James Anderson

8 of those players played in the last Ashes series v Australia.
There were 2 posts made after the Adelaide Test match last Ashes series.

This post by an intelligent poster who barracks for an Eastern based SANFL team.
" I reckon the reason England are 2-0 down is because this series is played in Australia."

This post by a know all [ not Lightning Mcqueen, Brodlach, Booney, WHUFC or myself]
" I reckon its the softest English team Ive seen in 43 years of watching cricket.
Lots of dumb 'me' cricketers."

If the poster has watched cricket for 43 years he would notice something, that a majority of teams that tour Australia lose and at times get thrashed.

For me half their issue was they landed on our shores not knowing what their best eleven was....they then had the worst preparation possible with limited game time which didn't help their selection dilemma. Then they make a selection era in the first test combined with 'that first ball' from Starc and it all unravels.

Imo England are favorites for the upcoming Ashes series.

We will take the same bowling attack that has failed to win us the series over there in a couple of attempts (iirc) Starc, Hazlewood, Cummins, Lyon. For mine Boland just has to come in....his perfect for those conditions but dont think he will.

Our batting is very suspect. Warner can piss off but will linger around and fail just to annoy us more. Love Trav and his in great from, everything crossed it translates to overseas form as well, he will go head to head in Bazball. Will be Green and Careys first England Ashes tour and neither are 100% proven just yet. Green has a solid game for english conditions imo but there going to set the radar on that big front pad Watto style.

This game can go either way, an England win on day 4 or an England win on day 5.
McCullum's MAuLer's have now become my 2nd fav Test cricket team.

Campbell Kellaway has hit a ton against South Africa

Was he the other bat along with Wyllie Teague who dominated the under 19 World Cup.

Reading about him yes, he was Australia's second highest run scorer in this year's Under 19 WC, made 239 runs @47.8

From what i saw watching the WC he looks a very good prospect. Like Teague he looked a class above that level of cricket, hopefully that transitions into senior cricket.
