The arse end of the silly season.

Between the last weekend of September and the weekend just gone I had one Saturday without a function to attend.

Just to round it out I had the box on Friday for the cricket that ended up being a 2am finish at the casino then off to the city again Saturday night for another function.

I'm getting too old for this shit, worst part is that I'm busting my nuts during the week with running and the gym and then I'm always cactus on Sunday when I want to go for a decent bike ride or hike.

Looking forward to a weekend of nothingness.

I thought we'd bump into each other Friday night, probably lucky for ourselves and the general public that we didn't, my batting slowly for the first two sessions failed, I was 8 deep by the first interval and switched to the gins halfway through the 2nd.

A few people collecting Yankees hats and getting Jeter autograph embroided on them for collectors items as he is leaving.

I picked up my hats, and given my team isn't the most branded in the world he asked if I was a fan. I said most people come in and would reach for the yankees/dodgers hats etc and he just laughed.
