They pay them to do so.

Luckily we no longer have enough desks to all come to work at the same time

Same here.

that, we're still up in the air as to whether the GOvt is going to demolish the western part of our building for the last part of the T2T too, so as long as we show our faces a once every couple of weeks or so, they're fine with it.

i'll go into Head office when i need to but otherwise i don't mind driving into our mini office, which is 5 mins away a couple of times a week, breaks up from being at home all the time.

I don't think i could cope with driving 50 mins to work every day again.[/quote]You're safe.....now get back into the office!

Young lad here just asked what I was doing tonight. I've had an awful 3 days, getting belted before the break.

"Probably get drunk, masturbate and cry myself to sleep"

He just about fell of his feet laughing. Little does he know.

I'm reading through some of the details now and it's rather crazy what happened. Now I've been to a few A league games and Melbourne Victory fans are something else, I mean I've been to AFL game switch Port and Collingwood supporters and that statement still stands.

So from what I can tell, fans were throwing flares on to the pitch, at both ends so it's safe to assume it was all supporters.

Whilst one keeper just kicked them away and kept playing, the Melb City Keeper Glover, throw one of them back into the stands, about 2 rows deep. This set off the fans and they invaded the pitch and Glover was hit with what looked like a big in the head. A cameraman and linesmen were also assaulted as well.

This is just crazy stuff.

Looking at the vision I thought he just threw it off the pitch but went further than expected. They can hardly complain when someone threw it on the pitch.

Was hit with a silver bucket.

What is the need for flares at soccer and how did they get them in. Crazy.

Any traction soccer got from the Socceroos and the World Cup had just been lost.

Absolutely agree with you.

The game of soccer in Australia had a massive amount of traction after the work cup and that may have just killed it.

I was reading some comments from Victory supporters saying Glover the keeper is partly responsible as he threw the flare back.

I mean that thinking in itself is the problem, they don't seem to have an issue with flares at the game.

It's crazy stuff.

The a league (and it’s fans) kicking own goals again nothing was surer. Idiots.

not sure what to say about the incident last night , just feel sick !

There's so many people that invest their time and energy into the game, promote it and once again its one step forward tens steps back.

There is a strong possibility that some of the alleged perpetrators already have a life time ban from the stadium .

About 40 minutes after the match was stopped, it was officially abandoned due to player safety “in accordance with Law 5.3 of the Laws of the Game in order to protect the integrity of the match.”

In a press release, Football Australia described the violence as “shocking” and that “such behaviour has no place in Australian Football”.

Well, it does have a place in the game because it happens too often.

Do we have to put people behind barbed wire like the Asian countries used to do for cricket?
