Enough runs to see old mate Warner sent back to the Pavillon

I think the pitch has a lot to do with it.

When balls are exploding over the keepers Head for 5 wides one could say it's not ideal

Yet one bloke made a run a ball 90.

No, you’re right Jackpot, let’s just dish up roads and watch teams make 600.

Why not have a wicket that produces something close to an even contest and not to either extreme? Why is it, it's the batting that is the problem on decks like these, but never the bowling on a flat deck?

What do you put it down to?

In 150 years of test match cricket, how many 'less than 2 days tests' have occurred? Remembering, anything pre say 1940 was an uncovered pitch.

Friggen useless. T20 has roads and test matches are starting to become predominantly green tops where tests are being decided within 4.5 days without generous declarations.

I hope Brisbane lose their next test, that was a disgrace.

I just read that it's only the second time a test in Australia has been completed in two days and it's the second shortest by balls bowled in Australia.

But it's not the pitch? ;-)

Edit: the West Indies lasted longer than the Sth Africans.

It's also the second shortest completed test match in balls bowled (866) since WW2. The shortest is India v England in Ahmedabad (842) last year.
