And don’t get me started on on the incessant changing of gloves and unscheduled drinks.

Unless it’s an injury no drinks or gloves changes should be allowed within 15 mins of a drinks or session break.

And the injury means you to retire hurt (helmet knocks excepted)

We actually might agree on a topic

Changing gloves every twenty minutes is the biggest load of crap!

Ditto , make it the 3 of us
The time wasting by Warner and the Lab nearing stumps was very poor
They were within their rites to 'bend' the rules
Now up to the officials to address this
Maybe a time on like Aussie Rules for these acts

You certainly love your cricket.

In my playing days I was known as unisys, I knew every player stat and whenever we were fielding I knew what the opposition was on and their run rate required to 2 decimal places…………..and I don’t think I belong in the same library as TDK.

I too throughly enjoy reading his knowledge, I know more about todays game because of him.

Haha thank guys appreciate it, I love creating discussion on here and sharing the information I read/hear on the internet, apps YouTube and now Podcasts which have been a game changer for me. I've learnt so much recently from Podcasts particularly Jarrod Kimber's podcast channel 99.94 where there are Podcasts covering England, South Africa, West Indies, Sri Lanka, India and most recently Australia plus Jarrod does his own content on Red Inker and also on YouTube. That bloke is an absolute wealth of knowledge.

Random thoughts!

Could Warner be tempted to call it a day after this test or series as a big FU to CA.

South Africa have not played in a drawn test since March 2017. I think that is 45 tests. Is that a record?

Yes it is, 17 tests more than the nearest streak.
It’s 23-22 for those playing at home, surprising stat in itself.

I won’t be surprised if it’s after the SCG test.

That’s what I was thinking

An India tour and away ashes would be tempting to play but retiring in front of the home family off the back of a great innings would be tempting.

Especially given he’s had a close up view of what it looks like to go out when based on poor form.

He probably won’t but it immediately crossed my mind.
