Arsenal have been showing quite well this season. Not sure about the title, but it could be a contender. Although many predict a place in the top 4, I think the team can do more.

Not a bad time to come in. Liverpool at Anfield followed by a six week break for World cup where most of the Saints won't be participating. Plus all injured players can fully recover and we can reset our season at Xmas. Go Saints

So much for a reset ..... Saints have gone backwards. Not sure how we get out of this mess.

Never saw this morning’s match, only followed the score. Worst performance ever seen some supporters are saying. Desperately need a striker, owners won’t spend money. 12 goals in the last 16 matches, enough said.

Arsenal are entitled to be favourites, but there is a long way to go. They fell in a hole late last year and play ManU this week. They also still have to play City twice. City have hit a flat spot recently, but I'm sure they'll bounce back. Plenty of teams are locked in a relegation battle and I'm sure there will be further sackings in the weeks ahead as teams are desperate to stay up. Some good signs for Saints, but a long road ahead.

Arsenal drop 2 points for the second week in a row. Got a bit of a choke about it.

Down the bottom, still very tight but Southampton and Leicester would have to get 10-12 points out of the last 7 games.

Spots for Europe still up for grabs with Newcastle almost assured and Aston Villa have a very sustained run of good form pushing them up to sixth.

Arsenal supporters must be getting very nervous. They have away games at ManC and Newcastle to come, so I think they are going to be disappointed. It's been a terrible year for Saints, so back to Championship we go. Hopefully we can bounce back like other clubs have done in recent years.

Arsenal hit the brick wall.

Man City should win the title from here.

Forest get 3 valuable points and move out of the zone. Southampton probably gone. 2 of Forest, Leeds, Leicester and Everton to join them.

Arsenal lose at Forest thus making Man City Champions. Forest now safe.

Villa draw at Liverpool keeping their Euro chance alive and stops Liverpool from playing in the Champions League.

Tottenham must win at Leeds next week and hope for Brighton to beat Villa to play in Europe.

Joining Southampton in relegation is down to 2 of Leicester, Leeds or Everton.

Tottenhams slide will make the Kane lotto go around again.

Newcastle especially along with Brighton and Villa (second half I think second only to Man City) has been instrumental in spreading the depth of the league. Brentford and Fulham good seasons as well.

Liverpool can still make Champions League. United need 1 more point to make it and have Chelsea and Fulham both at Old Trafford so we should pip Liverpool.
Hopefully Leeds go down where they belong
