Oh gee what a shocker [emoji38]
I didn't watch any of the days play today but just watched the highlights, can someone tell me why on earth he was he bowling over the wicket to a right hander? Bowling into the rough I'm guessing?

Cummins looked like he bowled a good spell at the end of the day? Hit Jansen a few times.

14 wickets in 98 overs tomorrow with 326 runs to play with and no rain forecast in Sydney tomorrow, can Australia do it?

Conversely, I don't understand lefties bowling around the wicket to a right hander, especially with the footmarks? Why would you? You take away the natural angle by bowling around the wicket.

It might take away the LBW but it does present options for bad pad on both sides and slip.

Just finishing binging “The Test”, can’t wait for season two, it’s a great insight.

I now like Gary Lyon again, I think more of Marnus and respect his integrity a whole lot more.

I admire Usi immensely.

Found a lot more respect for the Marsh brothers.

Paine wasn’t a great captain.

Warner is a very simple man.

I can understand why Langer was moved along, he is monotone, master of the obvious, cliche ridden (that don’t make sense) and I don’t think he’s much more intelligent than Warner.

Ponting is the GOAT of cricket wizardry, no one knows the game like him.

Smith is the best player I’m ever going to see.

The Stokes innings at Headingly is the most stoic innings played, the reverse sweep for 6 with a man on the boundary is as gutsy as it gets, no wonder they’re a far better side with him captain.

Didn’t like Lyon announcing yesterday how their going to be seeing how much they can run on the pitch before getting picked up for it.

Reckon his lost touch a bit…..needs to read the room a bit better. The sandpaper gate is still a legacy of this group and his talking about the fine lines which we all know happens but like yeah.

I love Labuschagne quirkiness and reckon he has now found the perfect balance with it on field.

Lyon probably said that because on the radio they were saying on thursday or friday that the Australian public have fallen in love with this team and they are extremely likeable blah blah blah and had a good summer with the results.
the results part is true, they have done what they needed too against the WI and SA
BUT the team really is on the edge, if they stuff up again whatever respect they feel they have received from the public will disappear quick smart. fans dont forget
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!

It was about as smart as saying “I’m going to cook my pie before I eat it”.

Umps will be all over them now, well probably not Reiffel.

Exactly.

Then ended it with ‘it’s all part of the game’. Not sure this playing group is in a position to be saying something that breaks the rules is ‘all part of the game’ they lost that privilege.

Trav already showing more in one over than the spud has. Trav is a far better option in India and would allow us to play an extra bat or quick

One thing is for sure if Agar is our second best spinner than Trav has to be the second spinner in India.

I didn’t watch it either (spent the day fielding in the heat instead), however if I had to guess, I’d say it was less about yesterday and more about helping set up today. They felt around the wicket yesterday was only slightly worse chance of a wicket for those few overs yesterday, however the left arm spinner over the wicket helps widen the rough that Lyon and heady are bowling into today.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!
