Young lad I know tried to start his own gardening business end of last year.. thought I'd try and help him out by getting him to do my gardens.

Two weeks he's come up with an excuse every day why he couldn't come, I was getting a little annoyed, he tried to smooth it over by apologising and saying he'd look after the price..... finally rocked up today, spent a total of 57 minutes at my house.. and sent me the bill for $230.00 #-O

I don't know what's funnier that he's too lazy to get it paid to his account and then he just pays her or the fact he doesn't care that you know about his little debt problem.

It was inevitable....

My 16yo daughter, learning to drive, third time behind the steering wheel, gets tooted by some numb nuts at a roundabout after waiting maybe 5 seconds. F...wit.

I taught a young un to drive a manual. She was doing very well after a bit of a shaky start. Started in a car park and progressed to driving in traffic after she had mastered starting and stopping smoothly. After about a dozen outings we too came upon a busy roundabout where she got a bit flustered and basically dropped her bundle after enduring abuse and continual horn blowing from the car behind. Ended up we swapped over and I took over the driving. While doing so I offered some advice to the moll behind us which only served to enrage her more. She was about 20. P Plater. Thought she may of had some empathy but more likely she had some ice.

Just got my results back and I've got Ross River Virus. Spent last two weeks feeling like I have gout in every joint in my body. Wouldn't wish it upon anyone. Started my new job today as well but at least I can walk today. Hopefully I'm over the worst of it but it can drag on for over a year.
So you've seen everything have you?

yes, just been through similar experience. was almost dreading taking her out into Adelaide traffic as inevitably in the early days in particular they will stall or do something not quite right. Sure enough she stalls attempting to move off on a green arrow. 5 seconds to start her up, no probs, but peanut behind still honks the horn. Had another experience where she was basically blocked from safely changing lanes despite indicating well in advance.
After some expensive driving lessons she is technically very good but obviously lacks experience.
