Just to keep the ball rolling, last night I messaged a chick who I have not spoken to this millennium, I told her that I’d love to catch up one day for coffee and a chat, her reply was “you’re only human”.

She then rang me an we chatted for 5 hours, she ordered an Uber for me but I declined to go there as I had been drinking.

Heading out for dinner tonight.

What a year already!

Well she went out with her cousin during the day and I went to the lads cricket, I thought dinner was off the cards so I grabbed a pizza on my way home.

It worked out that I knew her cousin from when I was a kid, they were both messaging me to go there so I did, had a great night full of laughs til very late, dropped my friend off at hers and stopped in for a coffee before venturing home around 5am.

She seems very keen where I’m a more relaxed take it easy type, she ticks a lot of boxes though.

Comedy series Fawlty Towers is set to be revived after more than 40 years.

John Cleese, who played Basil Fawlty, will be returning to write and star alongside his daughter Camilla Cleese.

The two-series show, which featured on BBC2 in 1975 and 1979, followed the lives of Torquay hotelier Basil and his wife Sybil as they tried to keep their business and marriage afloat.

The new series will explore how the cynical and sarcastic Basil navigates the modern world.

Castle Rock Entertainment announced on Tuesday it had closed a deal with Cleese to bring back the television series.

The revival will also see Basil and his daughter, who he has just discovered is his, team up to run a boutique hotel.

Fawlty Towers was named the greatest British sitcom of all time by a panel of television experts for Radio Times magazine in 2019.

At our cricket clubs 60 (+1) Anniversary (covid) dinner last night I was awarded life membership. Mrs Boon had arranged for Junior, his girl, Miss and her bloke, to be there to see it. I had no idea about either.

My best mate, same. Life membership. Kids there.

Brilliant night, girls did a ripping job. Very proud.
