The Norwood Football Club is excited to announce the recruitment of Goy Lok for the 2023 SANFL Season.

Born in Ethiopia, Goy moved to Australia when he was seven years old.

The 25-year-old creative, hard running forward/midfielder has spent his recent seasons playing in the VFL with the Casey Demons, Frankston and Sandringham.

With Sandringham in 2021 and 2022 he kicked 16 goals from 25 matches.

Goy is a quality individual with an excellent work ethic – he has been working with St Kilda Football Club in its NGA Multicultural diversity programs.

Good luck to him.

He played a couple of games last year and is a real talent.

But it’s tough for Westies. We are getting hammered by the AFL.

I must admit, things aren't going Westie's way at the moment.

At least they’ve won a premiership this millennium, and two in the last 59 years! Lucky!

That's 5 this year and this year 50k less than 7 sanfl clubs and a few million behind 2 AFL clubs
So we will cop shit from other teams and certain Westie people all year and another wooden spoon
It's bloody hard supporting them

I get sick of that drive and I do it <10 times a year, absolutely brutal for them to do it multiple times a week.
