Confirmed in the Sunday Mail yesterday that Dizzy has a 2-year extension. What wasn't reported though was that this deal was done before the start of the season!!

Thinking about our last two wins over the last three years or so, both been captained by Henry Hunt. Wonder if there is anything to this or just coincidence

Strategical timing to release that after a win.

So they’ve been waiting 9 months to announce it?

Jake Lehmann with a ton. Just got himself a 2-year extension!!
Also, interesting rumour on TripleM about Harry Neilsen going to Tas next year? Not sure why when he would lose the protection of his father. Then again, they need a keeper and he may want to escape the shadow of his dad?

They've got Doran and McDermott.

Both can handle a set of gloves (especially Doran who has 10 snares in his last two games) and can bat better than Nielsen too. Doran 200 runs last two shield games
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Maybe dad planted the rumour so SACA would jump and offer a longer deal on more money :P

Interesting that Gillespie has come out recently (including today) commenting about Spencer Johnson and how SACA "have been there all the way" on his journey and pumping him up. Interesting it's taken until now when Johnson has done well and QLD are into him that Dizzy pipes up. Absolute silence before this. Could this be to put a guilt trip on Spencer into staying with SA?
How pathetic - why didn't you pick him in the last couple of years??
Weren't his injuries caused in the first place by the ineptitude of the fitness/medical staff and then he was misdiagnosed??

Goes to show the current noises from SACA coaches are just covering their backsides!

Spencer would be surely confirming if Queensland or any other state are interested

There definitely is but change nothing and nothing changes.
The redbacks should be playing anyone that shows promise in any way.

Enough is enough surely.

Didn't we win our last shield game by 200+ runs somehow. Be hard up to drop anyone from that team especially a bowler for some bloke whos bowled well in T20 Cricket the last few weeks. I think the selectors are in the right here for once.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.
