Im far from Heads biggest fan but he deserves first crack. Renshaw should have opened in place of Warner.

Now we have Finch talking Test cricket, give me a spell

Warner should have been punted. Hasn't been able to hit it off the square for years. That 200 was a shocking innings. Watch it again, if it wasn't for Marnus he wouldn't have gotten there.

Not a big fan of Warner either but crickey a double ton at test level that's ugly. Id take it every day

Yep even India struggle with crowds for day time tests.

All tests will need to move to day/night (which they sold out against Sri Lanka) in the near future.
I don't think day v day-night makes as much of a difference in India. Ticket prices however have long been a problem.

I’m not 100% in the know

I just read an article that they got recent record crowds to the the day night against Sri Lanka last year. This series should be a belter but barely spot anyone there

As mentioned though the Indian ticket system might be a lot different to ours which also justifies the day/night games if you have to have a five day pass.

Wow great decision selectors.
And double wow what that ball just did to the pitch.
Good luck batting day three.

Just stirring you mate!

I have question marks about Heads ability in India but he just had to play before Warner and even Renshaw whose India record was only modest.

It’s best Head was dropped and Renshaw failed - if Head played and failed it could’ve completely destroyed his opportunities in touring sides.. not to mention the hordes would’ve been all over him failing and previous record on sun continent.
