Jadeja & Axar - both lefties seem to be doing just fine

you do realise we didnt select anyone to take advantage of the doctored pitch, ie no left arm spinners or leg spinners

So you still believe it is doctored?

a rather typical Indian pitch
The spinners get as much bounce as the quicks

absolutely, not as though our left handers batted long enough to find out though, scared us into dropping Head for a right hander, of course it was doctored. got your head in the sand if you think it wasnt.
imagine if a country started leaving one end green for the quicks and one end dry for the spinner, is that doctoring? IMO when you start preparing sections of the pitch in a different manner thats blatant doctoring

1. Gabba test is irrelevant to whether the Nagpur pitch is 'doctored'.

2. Given the strength of RSA's pace attack the Gabba pitch wasn't particularly to our advantage, heading in to the match. Also I hardly think the board wanted a 2-day test. Just a howler from the grounds staff.

A smart offie with intelligence and the ability to mix things up.
Has probably hastened the demise of Lyons test career, cos I know who should remain in the XI when we play on pitches where only one spinner is required.
