It’s been the norm in Asia for as long as I remember, just like we always get a decent run over here.

In the 7 Tests between Aus and Ind at Delhi, the toss winner has elected to bat, with zero wins to show for it. Ind win 3, Aus 1, Draws 3, all from batting second.
