David is cooked.
Regardless of whether he is currently in our best XI, he should never have been part of the tour party. 5 days before the group left, he stated he was exhausted. 4 tests in 6 weeks tour of India is hardly the place to send someone who is already exhausted.
I believe the selectors were irresponsible towards a players well being, in sending him, and then playing him.
He is cooked. Send him home.

I wonder at what point India have to start looking at Kolhi and Pujara. Both have been ordinary for a while, there middle to lower order has saved them time and again for 3 years. No ton in tests for Kohlie since 2019 and averaging 20 odd.

Chetan Sharma has resigned from his post as India's chairman of selectors after being caught in an undercover TV sting operation. His resignation was accepted by BCCI secretary Jay Shah, according to an ANI report.

On February 14, an Indian TV news channel released video footage of Sharma talking about various matters relating to the national team, including alleged issues between Virat Kohli and former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, and Jasprit Bumrah's injury. It appears that Sharma did not know he was being filmed clandestinely at the time.

Terrible, almost makes it look like there's something on the screen you're watching the match on or the camera at the ground is dirty.

I think the Aussies will take Head's 43 from 46 compared to what Warner has done in the previous three innings opening.

agree if he averages 43 as an opener it would be considered a successful tour for him

Agree.

If the keeper is going to run to point celebrating a catch then he should review it when it is not given out.

Or perhaps he knew it was not out.

I can understand why an umpire doesn't give Smith any benefit of doubt when he plays such a poor shot.

Mark Waugh saying if we can get to 200 would be a good thing.

I just feel someone needs go the tonk. Maybe Alex Carey?

I don't think we have the depth of batting to prod to a decent score.

We get so stuck in our crease over there, horrible from Marnus. At least Handscomb & Carey will get on their front foot with the ball skidding and give us a chance as a defendable score here
