going to do it easily one thinks
Clinical win, big partnership for Short and Bancroft as he batted through the innings with some good hitting from Stoinis at the end to finish it off. Not enough runs obviously.

The Dorff has used up 5 of his overs, conceded 12 off them, need to attack.

I wonder if Charlie Stobo is any relation to Richard "No Skills" Stobo who played for NSW in the 80's IIRC, I reckon he was on the arse end of a Hookesy onslaught one day.

His son.

Anyone who can average 1.7 with the bat and 73 with the ball must have something that saw him picked for 6 shield games. Card player?

It's weird how I can remember someone by how out of place they looked mal years ago, he even looked like a C Grade first change bowler, I'd love to be able to find the figures of the game I was watching.

By looking at the NSW V SA games of the period he played, looks like he only played us once and did not get much of bowl and Hooksey was out cheaply in both innings.

I did see that he made 156 in one innings in Sydney which we won by 10 wickets.

Yeah, I tried to have a gander, it may have been a one dayer or the 90's affected my memory more than I first thought, I recall him being very ordinary for some reason, he was relatively tall, skinny with a scraggly beard.

Yes, no logic or reason.

Hard to believe we still get CA funding - Didn't he get 200 off 110 balls last season - he was 85 off 115? in the 4 day

I mean, what more is there to say. They are an absolute mess - let's hope he stays and we don't lose Johnson and him to another state.

Given they've brought in Johnson and Pope into the squad it looks like they may play an extra bowler? This would mean either Kelly or Lehmann is in the gun. I suspect it will be Kelly as he's the easy target as they won't drop Lehmann because they're mates with his dad. Carder, who continues to fail, will keep getting picked as there's no one else that can open (and they want to hope to get him in form to justify recruiting him).

Spencer to debut.
Neilson out sick.
Matthias now to debut also.
Lehmann to keep till he gets there as catching flight this morning.
Lost toss and bowling.
Manenti at 6 is long tail. Matthias averaging 17 for Sturt this year.

Wow massive changes

Kelly hasn't been in good form in any format recently so not too upset he is out, Carder stats are terrible 1 50 in last 16 or so innings.

4 quicks is that one too many? it is imo. Manenti as spinner and McSweeney is handy enough with the ball.

edit. Mattias got there in time as he is keeping
