You change suburbs as you pass streets around the Port. There's Largs Bay, Peterhead, Birkenhead, Semaphore, New Port, Port Adelaide, Ethelton, Semaphore South, Semaphore Park and Glanville all within an echo distance of each other.

The Peninsula is pretty much the same with Largs North, Taperoo, Osborn, North Haven and Outer Harbour all touching helmets too.

All mentioned suburbs except Port Adelaide and Semaphor Park are a part of the Peninsula, you got to know your peninsulas, you just got to ;)

And Exeter too, an often overlooked little gem

Give it a few years and there will be Fort Largs too I reckon, don't think the people spending 1.5mill plus for beachfront townhouses want to say they live in TAPEROO [emoji38]

Yes surely the new development will become a new seperate suburb and be known as Fort Largs and not Taperoo! Although that part of Taperoo (West of Miltary Road) is pretty good now.

For sure, actually put in an offer on a house in that area recently, one street back from the esplanade. Wanted too much though

I was gonna mention the 3 houses that reside in Exeter but I thought I was imagining things.

I lived at Largs for a few years and loved it, the Harradines that ran the deli on Fletcher Road used to let me go in there and just make my own food and sit in the back room to eat it with a coffee.

Wow, son owned the butcher shop there for a while too.

It was a good little set up, chemist and hairdresser across the road on the corner, deli, butcher and a takeaway shop two doors down, I lived at 241 Fletcher Road.

My sister worked with Pauline for a while too.

Same, and depending on which week it is (green or yellow) always full.

So do I BBQ a rib eye, or Pork spare ribs? Drink White or Red? Not to mention, Footy, Cricket races etc.

Tough gig. I know one thing for sure, when the girls get home a bit after midnight I will be snoring my head off.... most likely with the TV still on!
