That was the problem AO back then offered nothing in the first session at all for the bowlers which why every team was able to hit over 350 despite us having the best bowling attack in the world.

It wasn’t just ‘good’ to bat on it was an absolute road for the 3 days

Traditionally the Gabba has produced the most even bat/ball contest imo….obviously this summer being different.

AO for the first three days was like watching that recent Pakistan series

Looks the part but is batting ugly.....feel like one will have his number on it. I dont mind though at least you can watch knowing the bloke gives a crap and is willing to spend some time out there and get gritty.

62 run lead....still four fa.

Green making a difference to this partnership using his long stride and not coincidently Handscombe is getting some shorter balls when on strike whose batting a lot deeper.

Like to see these 2 take us to a 100 run lead. Then we are well placed.

Simple plan today, bat time.

if that's ugly, so be it.

Survive to stumps we're 300 in front.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
