Solid hitout by the Dogs against a strong Glenelg side who woke up after quarter time and just about controlled the game from there. In saying that the Dogs were still competetive but at times lacked the polish of the Bays.
In terms of which recruits for the home side will be in contention round 1 selection, from my perspective I’d suggest Liddy, McLennan, M Lochowiak, Chisholm, Munn and Carroll all would have just about pencilled themselves in, with Little likely as well.
So a reasonable changing of the guard it will be it seems. Didn’t see McCormack in the last so hoping he was managed rather than injured.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

A combined 27.6 between them. Wow.

Almost a shame to waste such accuracy in a trial.

Billy had ice on his knee at 3qtr time hope hes ok.
If we bring that sort of footy during the season we will be more than competitive
Agree that Glenelg were just a bit cleaner when it counted but overall pleasing effort.
The recruits all showed something except for Dale Pearce who couldnt get into the game.

Seven to none in the last.

I don't think Moore or Young played for North. North were very quick. Impressive.

A North player left the field with what looked like a bad ankle injury 10 minutes in. Midfielder. Down a long time before he got any help. Left the field with 2 trainers unable to put any weight on it.

Gibson Turner punched in the face after trying to push an opponents head into the turf and took no further part in the game (start of the last I think). Not sure if either/both reported.

I think South would be happy with the first three quarters.

Expect the 11 players (likely best 22) out today will have a run next week.

Bitch and Moan. There must be somewhere that people can get a drink at the ground.

We thought that last week when we had our trial there Friday night - at least they didn’t turn the lights off on you mere moments after the game finished… lol

Full credit to Centrals today - they had the BBQ going, hot chips, pies/ etc and drinks available
