Players aren’t the one’s pushing to wear it, it’s the cub and supporters.

Still reckon Ken Hinkley had a time at Port where they needed him. They were completely lost after the 2007 GF for a number of years and the work both him and the Port board did was outstanding - It’s clear as day they need a new voice to get that next step. 2020 was the one that went begging as I can’t ever remember a side that was top for the entire minor round and did not even play in a GF. You keep hearing how the players love him - If you loved your coach so much then why would you go out and deliver inconsistent rubbish in terms of effort? Has to go….

You’re correct but he’s like that drunk party guest late at night that just doesn’t get the hint it’s time to go.

Runs around like an unregistered dog

Also has the game gone past Jonas(not Jones)?
He’s never been quick but last night he struggled to get to a contest let alone influence it.

Unfair on him, I think they have played him out of position and that’s effected his confidence.

Put him on a back flank or back pocket and leave him there

Completely confused about his role. Came in as defender, finished last year forward, ran in the midfield during summer. Where is he? I think he's the defender Byrne Jones used to be.
