He's contracted until the end of 2024, I reckon that works perfectly for them.

He can go through this year with clean air (contract wise) and next year when the rebuild starts as the ageing top end leave and then the club decides is he the man to run the 4 year rebuild or is it a fresh start.

Bold call but I reckon the Doggies don't go on with Beveridge at the end of this season & Simpson goes on to coach the Dogs whilst the premiership window is slightly ajar at Whitten Oval.

WC start afresh in the rebuild with a new coach and recruit Sam Taylor home from GWS.

Taylor would be a good get but I problem is midfielder.

Shuey is almost done. Gaff, Kelly and Sheed aren't getting younger.

Gibneys first hit out was ok, Chesser wasn't much to write home about bit least he made it through. Hewitt is in this week which will be good to see how he goes. Hopefully Chesser is better for the run now.

As for the coach, either way we can have him stay on as boon suggested or we can let him go if there's a immediate option available. That's the advantage of being cashed up.

Hawks are super consistent with one thing this season.. 2 behinds in each of the third quarters, unfortunately the grand total of 4...is somewhat less than the 73 the other pr*cks have scored in this quarter in the first two weeks
