R2 Central v North Friday 2.10

Postby DOC » Tue Apr 04, 2023 11:03 am

Both sides come into the game with different form.

North won this fixture last year and neither side has any new injuries from last week.

I was impressed with both sides when we played them in the trials and Centrals last week made it tough in parts.

I am expecting North to show some authority here.

North by 6 goals.

If we don't turn up to play this could get ugly....

Hope to see an improved performance on last week and not another season where one quarter of football costs us every week.

Billy McCormack accepts a 2 match penalty and will therefore not play.

Dale Pearce takes a fine in order to play for a strike.

Not unexpected penalty for Billy. It is important that we do protect the heads of players, so, yes, a correct MRP decision IMHO. We will miss him badly over the next fortnight but hopefully he will learn from this.

Agreed, we could well be crucified in this match. However, let's have faith that the boys can turn it into a Good Friday and resurrect our season.

Tehnically it would need to be played on Sunday for the resurrection...

True, but we are looking for a quick resurrection. None of this 'on the third day' slowness. ;)

Would think Norf $1.50 is a gift.

Norf into Adelaide Ravens much better than bank interest.

Maybe a silly question, but where do you blokes bet on the SANFL? TAB and Sportsbet only seem to have a Premiership market.
Thanks

Topsports has the most options, and the odds Stampy puts up are his not the bookies.
Bookies have North $1.15 and Central $5.
