Most of the Essendon and Dees fans left after the first game and headed into town for dinner by the looks. A hell of a lot of Bombers fans out and about in the CBD

Mt Barker FC are playing all home games at the Summit this year for the 1st time, only played the odd game up until now due to some disagreement with the council, my lad is looking forward to play there in a months time.

Unfortunately I only got to the game at half time and it was all one way traffic from there, it was clear to me that Clarko isn't too worried about the scoreboard at the moment as he teaches the boys how he wants us to play - you could see our defensive press was too high and hence they got out the back too much but they persisted with it. We also insisted on handballing between the arc's looking for overlap which resulted in overuse and Brisbane turned it over multiple times. All part of the journey we are on.
