One "learning" will be public transport, you need mass public transport to the venue.

Plenty of buses to and from the City and Glenelg then also the North/South corridor

Sorry
I recall him trying to argue how good Richmond oval was for public transport when its arguably one of the worst (trust me, I relied on it in the early 90s getting to junior matches as a Glenelg trainer). Richmond Rd the closest bus stop.
The two best grounds for buses are The Parade and Stratarama Stadium (Glenelg Oval) as they are the only two with bus stops right outside the oval,
However next year I dont think they'll change too much and have two games again at Norwood and a match at either the Barossa or at Noarlunga - for the Southern vales.
In 2025 I'd them to give the Glenelg area a crack with games there. The bonus being that a game can be played and then you jump on the tram and get to your seat at Adelaide oval within an hour.

Norwood surface is top notch these daystopshelf wrote:amber_fluid wrote:Surely if it’s about the city as much as the footy then Glenelg oval has to be on the cards for next year.
Exactly, the same way Norwood makes sense because of the parade. Glenelg has just as much if not more going for it, jetty road and the surrounding area, trams and public transport, accomodation you name it. Surface is better than Norwoods, no brick wall to worry about either!

Yep, need lots of cafes, restaurants, bars nearby. That leaves AO & Norwood as the ideal city/suburb venues. Glenelg a short walk away from all that stuff too.
