I would've slipped Aliir in
I thought he was Ports second or third best and they would have lost without him

In - Teakle, Lord
Out - Lycett, Dixon

Lord - 21, 197cm 92kg key forward.

Big wrap for this kid from what I've seen of him at SANFL level

If Lord is playing does that mean the end of Georgiadis? To be traded?

Would have thought he would be next in.

I thought we would be a fair chance for this one and the Port drop Lycett. That makes it harder for us as they'll now actually have a ruckman around the ground and not just loaping around.

With Dion out this helps us so maybe that's a cost neutral.

Agree. No Georgie though, should have traded him last year to try soften the JHF picks we lost. He's losing trade value in the magoos.

How is Jonas coming back in and Williams being dropped justified? (Unless he's the sub but I assume that'll be Mead?)
Thoughts people?

Although not much difference in height, Jonas plays a bit taller than Williams. Saying that though, if he wasn't the Skipper he'd be on the outer I reckon. Can't knock the bloke's endeavour though. Seen one game of the ressies this year and Pasini played quite well, would like to see him be given a chance at some stage this year.

Williams unlucky to miss out. Jonas needs to step up.

Jonas only plays as he is captain. Form terrible but a gamble worth having against the worst team in the league.

I have seen Lord play against us perhaps six times.

Must play better in the other games.

Dixon rucks, Lord can ruck, Georgiades cannot. Not like for like but I'd like to see Georgiades making it impossible not to pick him, he's yet to do that at SANFL level. Hard as a forward in the Magpies though, opportunities are rare.

Georgiadis 29 disposals 7 marks and 4 goals in his first 2 SANFL games this season

Lord 16 disposals 4 marks 2 goals in his first 2 SANFL games this season. Demanded selection after his five disposal game and a goal against the bays.

Perm-Jones has shown a bit in his new role, Burton looked good forward but won't stay there, Teakle done enough to get another game but will need Dixon back next week against Rowan Marshall, Jonas will probably get a game or 2 with his record.

Reported on Fox that Georgiadis may have done a knee in the Ressies.
