I bet it was Westies after their most recent flag.

I reckon the Bays dropped their first 5 games in 1935.

Westies in 2016 lost first 9. 2 wins for the year in total.
In 2012 the Eagles lost the first 5. They made the finals and were eliminated in the first final by NA. :(

1935 Glenelg won 1 game for the season , rd 6 beat WT by 6 points
I reckon NW will do better in 2023 and win more than 1 game

North lost their first 5 games (but still ended up finishing 3rd) in 1992, no doubt partly due to the number of suspensions in their previous game!

Thought there would be a slightly bigger crowd yesterday, considering the weather and the public holiday. I guess it didn't have the excitement of a GWS vs Hawks game.

Norwood looked terrible, continually kept kicking it to North players.

North still need to improve their decision-making and skills in its forward 60 or so metres to be beating the in-form sides, especially with our increasing injury list.

Someone needs to have a "word" with Rawlings earlier this year

I didn't see the game yesterday but was at the 1st two

Let's start with some basics

Lost to WWT by 46 points
Disposals
Norwood 285
WWT 310

Lost to Sturt by 53 points
Disposals
Norwood 265
Sturt 259

Lost to North by 54 points
Disposals
Norwood 339
North 359

We are sure getting the ball almost as much as the opposition despite the drubbings

I would love to know how many of those Norwood kicks were <20m and % kicked where the forward direction is higher than not.

Same $hit game plan as the first half of last year.
This is NOT how we played in finals last year
Rawlings = Buckley :evil:

What my stat shows - overuse of the ball
**** around with it (chipping) in the Wing - HB area for a while which lets the opposition fall back and cover all forwards
Then blame the forwards for not getting the ball

Rawlings blamed inexperience after the WWT game
The four blokes I sat with at the game all :vom: at the game plan
Overuse of the ball is not a good gameplan even with good skills

HAs there been a bigger dog act in the last five years than this by Binder on Tuesday? https://sanfl.com.au/league/news/round-3-sanfl-match-review-panel-anzac-day/

Dropping the knees from behind into an opponent after the ball has left the area.

You're as tough as wet toilet paper, Champ!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
