Boak BOG. Loved JHF too. Dixon did not have big night and knee looked sore, but they don’t win without him tonight.

Loved Bergman tonight also, SPP been awesome all year, Houston solid, and Finlayson with couple of vital marks late.

Great team effort.

Few very good performances tonight none more so than the coaching staff. Went in with a plan and executed it. 12 of 13 over them and 8 in a row under the roof. Nice spot.

SPP and Butters always look like they are giving 10% more than anyone else. Bergman big kicks in last qtr really broke it up. Dixon with a tackle, smother and pack mark had a huge influence.

I hate too boooooooooooooooo JHF all night , every chance I'd end up with laryngitis.

That was a great match- neither team deserved to lose
SK needed a BIG forward to take contested marks tonight , someone like Max King

Na, that was a classic StK loss. Looked slick early and it was shaping up as a training run as Port seemed well off the pace, and perhaps that mindset crept in as the remainder was mostly rubbish. Couldn't lay a tackle, forward entries were wasteful, couldn't bring the ball to ground in our F50 as the game wore on, and some terrible blunders made in defense. Even had the help of the umps. Just can't beat them, 12 of 13 FFS.

Training run? You had the run of it for 60% of the first term, after that the game was played on our terms the rest of the night. Ownership continues.

Yeah probably not the right term, but these things happen when you’re frustratingly ranting on a footy forum late at night.

Felt StK looked sharp with the footy in the first quarter the small forwards were on-song and it was being largely played on our terms. Port’s couple of first term goals were scrambled efforts rather than anything too methodical, so I was confident our backs could keep them to 10 goals or less. From there we were uncharacteristically sloppy in the back half and Port’s mids ran harder to create options and used the corridor effectively.

The Saints got some soft frees
another mistake-riddled game of footy, very scrambly,
hate the way the game is played these days.
