Both coming off wins. Sturts third home game already.

Centrals much improved (last 2 weeks been very good) but Sturt have been dominant in all 3 games thus far.

Sturt by 4 goals.

Sturt should win, hoping for a competitive effort from the Dogs. Would love to still be in it at 3/4 time.

Sturt by 4 goals.

Marty Mattner at Sturt reminds me of Ross Lyon at St Kilda.

It just works.

I am feeling good about the game plan this season, but Unleys dimensions will add an extra variable.

With Pres and Billy back, the lineup is pretty close to the best we can put on the park.

A big test for both sides. Sturt have had big wins, but two have been over cellar-dwellers Norwood and Port. Central have had two wonderful results but can our form carry over for a third week, on an oval that doesn't suit us? With Billy back, we will certainly not be short of tall options up forward (Munn, Lange, Grace, Pearce and possibly Billy in rotations). This makes us a vastly different side from others we have gone to Unley with. Important for Pearce to grab a couple early and kick straight...very much a confidence player. Really pleased to have Elvis play his first game for the year. We are a chance, particularly if we dent Sturt's confidence with a strong start...they haven't been under scoreboard pressure this season yet. That being said, I still think Sturt may be too strong, but if we are in the game at lemons, watch out.

Great start by the Dogs.. and then absorbed what the Blues threw at them in the second qtr. Sturt admittedly have burnt a few goal scoring opps so it should pretty well be even scores in view of that. Expecting Sturt to get out of 2nd gear from here and assert themselves but regardless of the outcome the progress we are making on display.

Gutsy effort by the Dogs but FFS wear your home guernsey against Sturt or get a clash top that actually clashes.

Sturt had the lion's share of the play in the final term. I rather think Central would've been lucky if they had pinched it.

Loved the retro dogs guernsey. Was there a reason it was worn today?

Great game.
ST 9-9
CD 9-6

I had thought pre game that on the sMALl ground that ST would be too strong and win by a few goals.
Therefore CD effort was very good.
ST effort to give CD few goals start and still win was also very good.

Either team did not deserve to lose with the efforts put in.
