Hopefully at some stage, the Eagles will "click" and play a full game. This week?

Do you not consider the 46 point drubbing of Norwood a full game?

What a legend Jade Sheedy is. I take an ex Woodville legend to the President's Lunch and we all get smashed.
I fall arse over tit 7 hours into free drink time and Jade Sheedy helps me up when I'm like a turtle and is genuinely concerned with my welfare.
Absolute legend.

North are good, all over us but we kept at it - got within 2 goals in the last quarter and then missed two shots, our goalkicking not flash this year to date. No questions abut our effort but we lack the marking talls. Young (19 years old) Brinker-Ritchie in the ruck was overwhelmed by man-mountain Harvey early, but B-R showed some pluck, got his hands on the ball in the second half - encouraging. Prospect has a bit of razzmatazz with that funky new scoreboard/game screen. Best thing about NA, apart from Barrie Robran - sighted on the wing today, is their song - courtesy of the great Johnny Mac (whose son, Brett Mackereth played for Woodville).

Despite the score-line I didn't think there was a great deal of difference between the two teams overall. North fractionally better and simply were able to finish better in front of goals.

This is the third game in a row where the eagles have got out to a couple of goal break either in the late 1st quarter / early second quarter with the momentum yet have been unable to kick away. The opposing team has eventually steadied then kicked a few and we have not been able to go with them in the last half.

A massive game next game for the Eagles. To be 1 wind / 4 losses would make it very difficult for us to contest anything other than 5th spot come finals time.
