Apparently hectorville b grade player red carded for spitting. Spoke to someone that saw it - 6 weeks +

Haven’t seen or heard of anyone done for spitting in years.

Vile act if true

Plympton would be licking their lips picking up Peter Hoban. He could be the most influential player in Div 4 I’ve seen in a couple of years. Serious footballer.

Interesting game at St Mary’s yesterday with Pooraka too strong in the end with the polish in particular from their midfield stars standing out. Wouldn’t say Kenilworth should have won, however we definitely could have with the amount of opportunities in front of goal we had. Looks to be a seriously good and somewhat even comp for the top 8-9 sides.

Interesting, Pooraka missed the first 2 goals from 35 m out in front after half time and were 37 points up at one stage half way through the third quarter.
Everyone misses goals.
I found the game quite boring.

Being a minor, do they come into account with the de-registration rules? I’m of the understanding that junior games aren’t included, it’s a different ball game when it’s a minor playing seniors.

Yes, it’s a disgusting act and the kid should sit out for a while but at the end of the day he is a minor who will no doubt learn a lot from this, I’d like to see Heccies stick by him and educate him.

I do not know the lad nor do I know anything about the incident, only what I’ve read on here.

The lad in question is a good young lad and had been very excited to play seniors consistently this year (did play some C grade last year). I was very surprised when I heard it was him (but would have been surprised with anyone really - not an act I thought would happen). He is remorseful and like you said LM it's a very big lesson for him. Think he's also associated with North Adelaide as well so has cost him half the season there.

Was a privilege to watch a very very good player ply his craft at Mitcham today. Elite player for the Thunder in a cameo role. The young players would have learnt heaps from him. Should be more of it.

Was there an injury or something in the hectorville vs kenilworth game - 42 to 16 full time score seems like a bewildering score line

No injury.

just a scrap of a game. A few bad misses in the first could have had kenilworth 2 or 3 up early but never happened - continued actually.
Heccies looked good going forward as opposed to Kenilworth who were slow and congested.
The muddy middle made both teams play wider than id imagine they would like but end of the day heccies were much more efficient and took there chances.

What’s going on down at Mitcham!!! You seemed pretty sure they would be up and about after a very good finish to the year last season. Doesn’t look like they have gotten going yet. Looks like dejavu and they are going to finish strong like last year.

Have noticed that aswell - horrendous start to year for them in A and C grade - their C grade made the granny last year and haven’t won a game. Looks like they’ve lost a lot of depth

Interested to know how one of Lockleys recruits is classed as an 0 pointer when they played 8 games of A grade footy last season in div 3 and is not a former junior of Lockleys. Hope they haven't made an error while they have played with 15 points in all their wins.

8 games isn’t much in a year? Did he play 10 games of Bs? Then would be 0?

clause 8.8.3.2 in the apps stipulates 1 pointer

You may also need to do some maths before you post as well, only one of Lockleys wins have been with 15 points in Rd 2. All other wins have been with 14 points. Nice try though
