Absolute grind of a game but another loss for North, six in a row now. The novelty of Clarko has definitely worn off and surely they won't finish above the bottom four now.

They were on early, Draper was giving Teakle a bath and his mids first use as the Bombers ball use inside 50 hitting their forwards looked ominous for Port. After their start they really died off in the second half and Ports terrible inaccuracy kept them from really over running over Essendon.

Their game today was almost the opposite to last weak where they started really slow against the Cats.

Essendon v Port 1st quarter 6.1 and the next 3 kicked 7.8.

Essendon v Geelong 1st quarter 2.0 and the next 3 kicked 14.8

Lost all structure when Rioli took out Ridley. We were already undermanned and short in defence and by having to send Langford back we ended up losing out in two areas. Just a horribly skilled side aswell which doesn’t help as the better sides punish all our mistakes every week. Another bottom 6-8 year coming up and I’d be happy to let Parish and Redman go to give us 3 top 10 picks if we had a competent list management team but we don’t so Brad is stuck with this woeful list

Went off with concussion and will miss this week. Will be graded careless, high, high which is a 2 week suspension

His arm made contact to the head.
I think it will be deemed careless, high, high which is 2 weeks. I don’t subscribe to the 3-4 weeks that I’ve heard or seen on social media, that seems over the top but I’d expect to be 2 weeks

C'mon Booney you're smarter than that. You know with the grading given to the consequences no matter how relatively trivial or accidental the content games are at stake here

Juniors left the ground, he's made contact he's missing at least one possibly two depending on the Doctors report.

I didn’t catch his name this morning but heard some bozo on SEN say that it will be graded intentional which ups it 3-4.
By the letter of the law it could be that but I’d be shocked or surprised if it is.
I thought the VanRooyen one was probably a week and got that wrong though :)

It all depends on what Christian says it is If h he determines it was contact to the head its high therefore with the impact Rioli will get offered two
If he determines low contact body it will be a week

As you know it all depends on what the contact is graded at

Junior hasnt helped himself by jumping to make the "careless" contact

Put your trust in Michael Christian mate....

Not in play, high contact, player concussed - he gets 3.

On another note what's the go with the booing of Franklin yesterday.

Was a very bad look

Good to see Buckley condemning it.
