Surprised that we go in as favourites on their ground, one I don't believe we have a good record on.
We will need to put in a much better effort than we did in the last quarter last week. Having said that, our overall form has been very pleasing.
Eagles by 14 points.

Might be favourites due to being a more experienced side.

True. Having AFL-experienced players obviously doesn't help a side... just look at the Crows ;)

Centrals are 3-3 against the Eagles at Woodville since 2017, which would be one of the better away ground records they've had in recent years.

Interesting contest between one of the seasons over achievers and one of the seasons under achievers.
Form says the Dogs, but on paper the Eagles look better, and should be fired up... another loss at this stage would put their season in peril.

Presbury a big out for the Dogs which counters Knight as an out for the Eagles.
Our forwards must cash in on the work down the field for us to win. A couple of them would be on notice after their poor (non) efforts last week.

Pleased to be corrected on that score. Hoping we can make it 4-3 on Saturday.

If not, we may need to start implementing changes up forward. Much as I love him, Dale needs to fire against his old club tomorrow.

Judging by comments on FB (which admittedly may be presumptuous) it looks to be a like for like replacement for Pres in Launer.. who has looked a class above at ressies level and deserves a spot I reckon..

Big challenge for us the Eagles are always hard to beat and are still a very good side.
If we play the way we played in the last quarter last week we will get smashed .
Hoping we can win and be 4-2 which would be a huge imrovement on past seasons.

On present form and with Central's recent solid record at Oval Ave, Dogs deserve to go in as favourites.
Eagles' side looks more settled this week though and am expecting a more cohesive performance as the side starts to gel and get familiar with Sheed's demands and style of play. Hopeful of an upset at home!

I think we may have lost a player from the League squad through injury. Can only see Carroll and Tippins in the Ressies from the 25 named.

Yes, looks like Launer and Habel in. I hope we haven't lost a "key player". Good to see both players get a deserved chance.
