Hosko out. Nail gun through his hand during the week. Sounds familiar.

Eagles look to have their mojo back...all over us for most of that quarter. Only a great Dale Pearce goal has kept us in it.

A very scrappy third quarter, which is all the Eagles needed as they have the lead. Unless we do something amazing in the final quarter, this is one game we will just need to put behind us, and regroup in two weeks.

Well done to the Eagles on the win. Broke it open in a 10 minute burst in the second quarter, then did all they needed to do defensively. Certainly not a pretty game, but one that proved we are still a bit off the pace, whilst there is life in the Eagles. As UK said, our forward line is a big worry.

SOS to Connor McLean and Dan Menzel: all is forgiven, come home now please. You won't be playing Ressies with us ;)
On a positive note, still sitting fourth. If we can win 2 of our next 3 (Glenelg, Norwood, Port), can still have a positive ledger at the halfway mark of the season. This would still be in advance of season expectations....plus we now have a fortnight to regroup.

YES!
Can't see why we won't be 5 & 4 at the halfway mark,
that's a huge step in the right direction!

Not a great advert for footy. And the third quarter was a shocker.
Same story ... Our defence did fine, Our mids battled well... Our fwds are Our issue.
We missed Hosko and Pres more than the Eags missed Knight and Pudney.

Part of the issue for our forward line today we got killed in the centre square wouldve been lucky to have got it out more than five times for the match.
Which didnt give our forwards any quick entries into the forward line, today we played like we did in Round 1 against South.

Safe to say the highlight for Centrals today was the SANFLW side clinching a spot in the finals for the first time in their win after the men’s game this evening (in a score that was largely a reversal of the men’s score)
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10
