Tassie job would suit him IMO.
Spend the next year or two doing part time talent ID and recon, 1-2 years in the VFL on good money and then the real stuff begins. Reckon the AFL will try and parachute a big name coach in down there and will pay them accordingly. Could get the band back together and take Gale down there as CEO and Jack as an assistant

Looks like a bloke very content with his decision and so he should be.

Owes Richmond nothing, owes the game nothing, can sail off into a largery sunset and enjoy life for a while.

Good luck to him.

If Dimma has a final farewell game you’d get 80k+ at the G on Sunday. They’ll probably get less than 50k now & I’d say Port will win.

I think there's a stat out there showing that it's about a 43% win rate for a new coach

An SEN article from last year states that clubs are 5-7 following a coach leaving and a caretaker taking over since start of 2012. Championbets (also last year) state a 6-10 record for an in-season coaching change since start of 2010.

Can add 1 more loss to both those stats after NM loss on weekend.
