I'd have a guess that Carey's living is bereft of any feeling.

No just his liver, it would have drowned in WED and be numb as a result.

Annual trip with blokes I went to school with, Mornington Peninsula Fri, Sat & Sun. The organisers have kept hush on the courses, all I know is they’re 3 we haven’t played yet. Forecast looks frigid.

Yep, played all them as well as Rosebud, Eagle Ridge & Devil’s Bend. Hoping they’ve organised The National and/or Cape Schank.

Unfortunately I last played here over 40 years ago as a kid but last week I spent 7 hours on Groote Eylandt in the Gulf of Carpentaria for work

I took this photo of the 2nd tee at Alyangula Golf Club for old times sake. The 2nd and 3rd Greens are literally beach side. The water hazard is a known Crocodile hangout so you don’t go looking….

Wish I had stayed overnight for one last evening round

*sigh*

Really don’t think I could tee it up at a joint called Cape Shank…. I’d hit them all day!

Flaggy -

a few ins and outs were made at the selection table. the 5wood found its way back in as did the 4hybrid. the cobra 4-5w was removed, along with a 4i and a 5i.

the weather was ominous on the way there, it was making a mockery of the BOM radar.
get out the car and unload and it starts raining
 get through 8 holes before the rain arrives, and although it lasted for the duration of the 9th hole its all that we had for the day. 16 on the front 9 with 2 wipes.
back 9 (1st hole) drive starts to close to the trees and drops down. got out of that with a 6 and from there it was fairly solid. 20points on that for a total of 36.

Decent weather at Victor yesterday, not a drop of rain and bursts of sun.

Unfortunately my golf only had bursts of mediocre. 2 lost balls, a 4-putt, and many shots out of trees.

95 for a nett 80- my handicap continues to slide.

On the other side- the shot tracking at the Pat driving range (on course, not Drummond) is superb and worth your while. Took the kids last weekend.
