First test of a massive English summer, I'm keen as! Forecast in London looks good for the next four days (it's a four day test match).

Apologies if this has been covered already. This Test against Ireland goes from 1st to 4th June. Doesn't the Test Match Championship start on 6th June, also at Lords. What pitch are they using for the Australia v India game?
WTC is at The Oval starting on 7th

Easier for the ICC to set up their sponsorship deals at The Oval than at Lords apparently...[/quote]Correct, the Oval is the host venue instead of Lords because of commercial agreements as the ICC requires a 'clean' venue for its own sponsers.

Read a stat about Duckett and Simon Doull was talking about it on the boadcast, since his return to the test team while batting he has left the ball eight times in 605 balls. Shows his intent to get bat on ball, maybe the Australian bowlers can exploit that?

He also has the highest score by an English opener since December 2017 (Cook 244* at the MCG).

It will be interesting to see how this goes. Cummins and Hazelwood are very strong consistent bowlers. It will be interesting as there has been some talk about the small boundaries and flat pitches.

Flat pitches would remove there advantage of us not handling seaming decks well.
