Take out the two big partnerships, one from each side, it’s an even game

It's already a record chase if India were to win. Would like to get the lead closer to 400, but we need to leave enough time to take 10 wickets. Can't have India bereft of hope and Pujara putting up the wall.

There is plenty still in this pitch, batting last will be tough. However the Indians are capable.

Carey playing a late cut between 1st & 2nd slip to the boundary is the shot I needed to see today.

It is and a great prelude to the Ashes. I'm sure we're all enjoying it except @whufc who thinks the Aussies are a bunch of tossers!

Cummins isn't allowed to be absolutely filthy with himself for bowling that no ball? He usually doesn't show that kind of frustration if any so he was obviously very annoyed at himself. How do you feel about Siraj cracking a tantrum and throwing the ball down the pitch when Smith pulled out as he was distacted when Siraj had started running in?

Of course he can be frustrated

Look at the umpire and kick the ball almost the other direction…..knob head behaviour.

I still enjoy the cricket and there are some likeable blokes in the side, unfortunately we have a few knob heads in there as well albeit amazingly talented.

Been some really good field placements by India that have restricted the scoring there bowling today has basically given us nothing.

Umesh is quality.

Lead past 400, bloody hell this will be interesting.

Batting doesn't look easy, but then again it does and then it doesn't.

That new ball really jumps of thst pitch. That over from Sharmi cut Carey in half twice.

Not only is this great cricket but it is an ideal preparation for the ashes. Whilst England took the long handle to the minows in Ireland, Australia is battling it out in a cage with the world's best.

Lyon should've come out instead of Cummins. Apart from the fact that Gaz is more likely to make runs, Cummins really doesn't need to be wasting energy out in the middle.
