What is the deal with the umps Booney?
I saw the Power get flogged by the umps against North too (was 10 nil Norths way at one stage).
Are the umpires handing out some "natural justice" or is there a genuine issue?
(From what I've seen it's the first option)

I definitely think there is some bias there towards the genuine clubs (as there should be IMO) but I’ve noticed in the games that I have seen that the two AFL clubs aren’t fully across the last touch rule and usually give away a fair few from that. I believe those frees are counted on the stats for free kicks still but I’m sure others may know

Fun fact of the day:
Greenland is further north, south, east and west than Iceland.

Is that better?

Are you, quite maturely I might add, suggesting a systematic approach by the SANFL to have the umpires, fairly in your mature view, judge the Adelaide and Port Adelaide SANFL sides more harshly to the point of let's call it, cheating?

Definitely not, more a sub conscious thing by the umps themselves if anything.
It's human nature to favour blokes who have full time jobs Monday to Friday against full time professionals.
I was curious on your point of view seeing more Power reserves games than I do but from what I see they get a shocking run.
I could be wrong, in Power reserves games I don't look at it could even up,
But hey, I'm probably just trolling asking someones opinion. :?

Yes, I think they are umpired differently and no I don’t have a huge issue with that.
Of course we could all be wrong and they are just incompetent

Well the best option is for them not to be in the comp, the next best option would be to exclude them from finals and option 3 is to umpire them so that they can’t win a flag.
The SANFL has chosen option 3 ;)

They will have a whinge about it and it will all change like it normally does when they complain.
For years and years the other SANFL teams copped a crap run from the umpires when they played the Magpies ,perhaps now they are umpiring more fairly.

No conspiracy re: the umpiring yesterday.

I cant talk for other port games obviously.

But yesterday I thought Centrals were more disciplined with its tackling. Port seemed to consistently give away a lot of over the shoulder free kicks thru out the day.

Incidentally Port and Crows have the most free kicks against in the AFl as well.

Damn those victorians!!!!

Impressed with Luca’s game, with just 25 games under his belt he has massive upside.
Hopefully we hang in there and keep it respectable but fear a last quarter blow out
.

Clearly I was wrong, the SANFL now the 3rd best comp in the land if Narkle is racking up those numbers. :)
