Question to anyone that was there: was there any change to the failed gameplan from the first couple of months (and from the 1st half of 2022)?

2300.

Boyd too strong in the middle, Visentini did his best to break even with him but Boyd controlled the air in the midfield. When Norwood exited the back half he marked it, when Port exited the back half he brought it to ground.

McLean and Surman made the most of their chances, Robinson looks like a massive flog, Seymour was too smart at half back and Rohkar, Hamilton and Nunn only had Mead to worry about in the middle as our young group couldn't match the stronger bodies.
PAFC. Forever.

LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!

Agree re Robinson, for someone that has played less than 10 games and done bugger all, he carries on like a tool

Not much noise when Port kicked a goal.

Nothing's changed, you'll still lose at least the next 4.
But winning is better than losing.

Simple really, the confidence is back. Run ,support, instinct and carry are back instead of winning a clearance and just kicking around corners in hope. The game plan hasn't changed, it just wasn't followed with any confidence.
Bring on Sturt, I'm quietly confident we're playing well enough to win.

Maybe...............

The game plan is high touch and never kick long.

Get ball. Kick it around half back and centre until the oppostion can get all of their players back then try to pinpoint a forward (who is up against 2 opposition because we've been waxing for 5 minutes and clocking up big disposal numbers) with a 10-15m kick that misses by 1 metre left / right / over / under. Ball is then rebounded for an easy opposition goal.

Repeat and continue to repeat
